Well, despite the current heat wave, my twice-daily watering routine looks like it’s working. My roses are looking absolutely fabulous. Who knew I had such a green thumb? It’s either my dedication or the fact that the roses are just too stubborn to let a little heat get them down!
One Sunday morning, I drove to North Walmart with my car and Swiffer to quickly pick up a prescription. After spending just 20 minutes inside, I returned to find my Swiffer visibly distressed in the car. Upon closer examination, I discovered signs of an attempted break-in, including evidence of someone trying to steal my dog. This unsettling incident happened at 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning, amplifying the shock of the situation.
Well, the tree growth over the last 7 years has been slowly starting to hide my flag … so it was time to add some extensions to get the flag back up above the trees 🌲 🌳
Hopefully, the wind doesn’t get the best of it !!
Well, I can’t believe it!! The boat has been in the water twice in one week. I mentioned a boat ride to Henry and Steven while they were camped at the Delburne Golf Course and they accepted.
The weather was a little cloudy so nice and warm. Great night for a little cruising, music and chit-chat.
Well, it was finally time to take the Corvette out for the summer of 2022. Within the first 30 seconds of hitting the highway, I was sideways! Cold tires + cold asphalt = possible rhubarb tasting!!! Not really a good feeling at 100 km an hour! I wasn’t even horsing around. Then off to Innisfail we went for a haircut. When I say we, I mean Swiffer and I. No haircut for Swiffter today. He’s is booked for tomorrow!
